St Stephens School

You can find us right behind the Dev Samaj College on the main road in Sector 45B. Chandigarh is a planned city, but this corner feels quite lived-in. The school building is tucked away a bit. We have kids coming in from all around this sector and the nearby areas. The morning rush on the main road can be a bit much, but once you’re inside the gates, it settles down. We have classrooms on a couple of floors. The stairs are always busy when the periods change. We don’t really do anything flashy here. It’s mostly just teachers at the boards and students at their desks. We have a small area where the kids can sit during their break. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty when they’re running around. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many students, there’s always a stray pencil or paper somewhere. The staff is mostly local people who have been with us for a long time. We know the shortcut paths around Sector 45B well. It’s just a normal school day for us. We focus on the textbooks and the exams that come up. Being behind the college makes it easy for people to find us if they’re looking. It’s a busy, plain, working school. We don't have a lot of frills, just the usual benches, blackboards, and books. It's a place that feels familiar to everyone who lives in this part of town.
