Dav School

We are located at 5471/2 in the Modern Housing Complex in Manimajra, Chandigarh. Dav School has been a part of this neighborhood for a while now. The school is right in the middle of where people live, so it feels very much like a community spot. We don't have a massive campus with dozens of buildings; it’s more compact and tucked away in the housing area. Every morning, you can see the parents dropping off their kids and hear the general buzz of a school day starting up. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff—desks, chalkboards, and stacks of notebooks. We try to keep things orderly, but with children around, there is always a bit of healthy chaos. The staff here is mostly local, so we know the families who live in the complex quite well. It’s a simple environment where the focus is just on the daily lessons and making sure the kids are doing their work. We don't have any of those high-tech gadgets you see in some of the newer private schools. We just use what we have and focus on the teaching. The playground isn't huge, but it’s enough for the kids to run around during their breaks. It is a straightforward place to work. We spend our days grading papers, talking to students, and keeping the school running as smoothly as possible here in Manimajra.
