Sanawar Montessori School

Sanawar Montessori School is located in Sector 11, Chandigarh. It’s a bit of a quieter area compared to the main markets, which is nice for a school setting. The building isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. Working with younger kids means we spend a lot of time on the floor or moving small furniture around. Sector 11 has a lot of trees, so we get a good breeze, but we also have to deal with a lot of dry leaves in the yard. Our day starts early with the staff setting up the materials for the children to use. We don't really do the whole corporate school thing. It’s more about the teachers knowing every student’s name and their parents too. The kitchen often smells like the mid-day snacks being prepared, and there is always a bit of paint or glue on someone’s hands. It’s a very practical, down-to-earth kind of place. We don't have a team of people writing about us; we just have a few of us who handle the phones and the front desk while everyone else is in the classrooms. Chandigarh is a very organized city, but inside our walls, things can get a little messy when the kids are busy with their projects. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep everything running smoothly without any unnecessary fuss.
