Baldev Kumar Sodhi Architect

I run my practice, Baldev Kumar Sodhi Architect, out of my place at H.No.2549 A in the Awho Flats. We are located in Sector 47 C, which is a pretty residential and quiet area compared to the main city center. It’s not a traditional office building, so it has a much more personal feel to it. You have to come through the residential gates to find us. Working from the Awho Flats means the atmosphere is very different from a commercial block. It’s mostly just me and a small amount of help handling the daily work. The rooms are filled with rolls of paper and various files that have accumulated over the years. Sector 47 C is a nice place to be, with plenty of trees and a bit of peace. I spend most of my mornings going through emails and my afternoons working on drawings. Since it’s a home-based setup, there isn't a lot of pretense. If the doorbell rings, it might be a neighbor or it might be someone coming to discuss a project. I like the flexibility of being here. It’s a simple way to work, without the stress of a long commute or a big office rent. Most of the people around here know what I do, and I’ve been at H.No.2549 A for a good while. It's just a regular life.
