An Architects Group

We are based in Sector 21, and we just go by An Architects Group. It’s a simple name for a group of people who like to build things and draw up plans. Sector 21 is a decent place to work out of, and our office is right in the middle of it. We have a few big tables where we spread out everything from site maps to electrical layouts. It’s not the neatest office you’ll ever see. There are usually crumbs from lunch on the side tables and piles of books on the floor. We don’t try to act like we’re some big city firm with suits and ties. Most of us are in jeans and ready to head out to a dusty site at a moment's notice. We spend a lot of our time debating where a staircase should go or how to save a bit of space in a tight corner. The group part of our name matters because we usually end up looking at each other’s drawings to make sure we didn't miss anything. It’s a collaborative mess, really. Residents from around the sector stop by to talk about their renovations. We listen, take some notes, and then get to work. No big speeches or fancy presentations here. Just pencils, software, and a lot of discussion about how to make a building work for the people living in it. That’s pretty much the whole story of how we run things every day. We just take it one drawing at a time.
