Architect Shubhang

Architect Shubhang operates out of House No 268 in Shivalik Enclave, Mani Majra. This is in the Chandigarh area, very close to the Fun Republic mall. It is basically a home-based office setup. I use one of the rooms as my primary workspace where I keep all my drafting equipment and files. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood, which is nice because there isn't much noise to distract from the work. Being near Fun Republic is great because everyone knows where that is. The office is quite small and filled with books, rolls of tracing paper, and some models I’ve built over time. It doesn't look like a corporate office at all. It’s a very personal space. I spend a lot of time here drawing up plans for various projects. Sometimes I have to move things off the chairs so people can sit down when they visit. It’s just the way a small practice works. I handle everything from the initial sketches to the final details. Mani Majra is a good location because it connects well to the rest of Chandigarh and Panchkula. I’ve been working from this house for a while now, and it suits the way I like to do things. There are no receptionists or secretaries here. If the bell rings, I’m the one who answers it. It’s just me and the work, sitting here surrounded by pencils and ink, making sure every line on the paper makes sense before the day is over.
