We are based over in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area, specifically at 29/16 on Street No 6. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s all about hard work and machines. Our place is no different. It’s a workshop where we deal with hydraulics and heavy parts. There is always a smell of grease and metal in the air, which we don't even notice anymore. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains, but that’s expected in an industrial unit. We have machines running for a good part of the day, so it’s never really quiet. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; we just have a small desk in the corner where we keep the records. It gets pretty dusty with all the manufacturing going on nearby. We’ve been on Street No 6 for a long time. The neighbors are all doing similar work, so we help each other out with tools or advice when something breaks down. It’s a tough environment but we like the pace of it. We don't put on a show for anyone. We just focus on the machines and getting the orders ready. It’s dirty work, but it’s honest. We start early when the air is still a bit cool and stay until the job is finished. Sometimes the power cuts happen, but we just wait them out.
