If you are looking for Amit Gupta & Sons, we are at Sco 34 right on Leisure Valley Road. It is easy to find because we are pretty close to the Punjab National Bank in Sector 29. The shop has been a family thing for quite a while now. My father started things off, and now we are all in it together. The mornings start with opening up the shutters and seeing the traffic pick up on the road outside. It gets pretty lively around here, especially with people going in and out of the bank next door. We spend the day talking to folks who walk in and handling whatever comes our way. It is not always smooth, but we manage. There is a lot of paperwork sometimes, and other times it is just about moving things around the shop. We know most of the people who work on this block. It feels like a small community even though the city is big. The desks are usually a bit cluttered with pens and ledgers. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. It is just a place for business. We take our tea breaks when there is a lull in the afternoon. Having the sons around helps keep things moving when it gets hectic. It is just a regular life of running a shop and making sure the lights stay on. We just show up and do the work.
