Finding us in Karol Bagh can be a bit of a trick if you don’t know the lanes. Active India Fab Expo is up on the first floor at No. 5688/79 in Regarpura. It’s a crowded area, typical for this part of Delhi. The stairs are a bit narrow, and we’re always lugging materials up and down them. We’ve been here for a while, squeezed in between all the other shops and businesses. It gets pretty loud outside with the shoppers and the rickshaws, but once you're inside, we just focus on the projects at hand. The office is usually a mess of fabric samples and exhibition designs. We don't really bother with making the place look like a showroom because we’re too busy working. It’s a small team, and we all end up doing a bit of everything—answering the phone, packing boxes, or dealing with suppliers. Regarpura has its own rhythm, and you have to get used to the pace. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find one of us sitting at a desk covered in papers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just life in Karol Bagh. We do what we can with the space we’ve got. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just a bunch of people trying to get through the orders and making sure the clients get what they asked for without too much fuss. We stay late most nights just to finish.
