Our place, Sigma Refrigeration Pvt. Ltd., is located at 3275-76/2 on Netaji Subhash Marg in Darya Ganj. This part of Delhi is always crowded, especially with the book markets and all the food stalls nearby. Our office is in one of the older buildings, so it has high ceilings and those thick walls that keep it a bit cooler, though we still need the fans going full blast in the summer months. We handle a lot of cooling equipment, so there are always compressors and copper coils lying around on the floor. The street outside is never quiet; you can hear the horns and the shouting of vendors all day long. It’s a bit of a maze to get through the entrance sometimes because of all the parked scooters and delivery rickshaws. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the office feels like a second home to most of the staff. The desks are covered in old catalogs and repair manuals. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with suits and long meetings. Usually, we're just in our shirtsleeves trying to fix a technical problem or figure out a delivery route through the heavy Delhi traffic. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years because they know where we are. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy environment, but it’s where we do our work. We just keep our heads down and deal with the units.
