Royal India Engg. Works

We are located on the third floor of Vardhman Diamond Plaza over in Pahar Ganj. Being in room 311 means we spend a lot of time going up and down, but it’s a central spot. Pahar Ganj is always moving, so there is never a quiet moment outside our windows. At Royal India Engg. Works, we deal with engineering parts and mechanical bits that people need for their projects. The workshop isn't massive, but we have the tools we need laid out on the benches. Usually, you’ll find some oil stains on the floor and tools scattered around while someone is working on a piece. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here if the elevator is acting up, which happens now and then. We have a few shelves filled with old manuals and spare parts that we’ve kept over the years just in case someone needs an odd size. It’s a practical setup. We aren’t interested in making the place look like a showroom. It’s where we work, and that’s about it. Most of our visitors are people who have been coming to us for years and know exactly which door is ours on the third floor. We keep the lights on late sometimes when a job is taking longer than expected. It’s just how things go when you’re dealing with technical work and tight spaces in a busy area like this one. We just try to get the engineering right and not worry about the rest of the noise.
