New Port Coffee Corporation(Cafe Oz)

Down at the Paramedical Flats near Hindu Rao Hospital, things move at a different pace. Our coffee shop, Cafe Oz, is located at No. 31, and it’s a bit of a hidden spot if you aren't looking for it. We mostly see the staff from the hospital and people living in the flats nearby. It’s a small operation, really. We spend our mornings grinding beans and making sure the machines are clean. The air usually smells like coffee which is nice for us. We aren't part of some huge international chain, so we do things our own way. If the milk delivery is late, we just wait for it and hope the customers don't mind. We use simple tables and chairs because we want people to feel relaxed, like they are in their own living room. We get a lot of students and doctors who just need a break from the wards. It's not a polished cafe with professional lighting; it's just a place where we brew what we like. Sometimes the orders get backed up when a big group comes in, but we just work through them one at a time. We don't have a fancy website or a PR person. It’s just us, the coffee, and the people who walk through the door looking for a cup. We like the regular rhythm of the day here in North Delhi.
