Coca Cola India

Daryaganj is a crowded place, and that’s where you will find our setup. It’s always noisy outside with the traffic and the markets. We are part of the Coca Cola India team, but our daily life is just about managing things here in the heart of old Delhi. The building is older than most, and the stairs are a bit narrow. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking inventory. It is not like the big corporate offices you see on TV with glass walls. It is more about dusty desks and stacks of papers. We know the tea stall guy around the corner better than we know the people in the other departments. It’s a real working atmosphere. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait while we chat. Everyone knows everyone’s business here because the space isn't that large. We deal with deliveries and logistics mostly. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People come by for meetings and we offer them a cold drink, obviously. It’s just a group of people working hard in a very busy part of town. We don't have much time for fancy speeches. We just get the bottles where they need to go and try to stay cool. It’s a bit chaotic but it has its own rhythm that we have grown used to over time. We just keep working.
