Our office is over in Karol Bagh, specifically at 620-A on Faiz Road. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with the markets and the shoppers everywhere. We are up on the second floor. It's an old building, but it works for us. We deal with tea mostly. Jay Shree Tea has been around for quite some time, and this office is where we handle the paperwork and the distribution side of things. It's loud outside with the horns and the street vendors, but once you get upstairs, it quietens down a bit. We have boxes of samples sitting around the desks. You can usually smell the dried leaves when you walk in. The stairs are narrow, so we have to be careful when moving stuff in and out. Most of the staff has been here for years. We aren't a big flashy corporation with glass walls. It’s more about desks, files, and phones ringing. Karol Bagh is a hectic place to work, but it’s got a lot of life. We grab lunch from the stalls downstairs usually. It's a practical setup. We just want to get the tea from the gardens to the shops without too much fuss. Dealing with logistics from this part of town is a challenge sometimes, but we make it work. It's just a regular day-to-day operation for us here on Faiz Road. The ceiling fans hum all day long to keep the air moving. We’ve got stacks of ledgers that go back years.
