Cafe Coffeeco

We opened Cafe Coffeeco at Shop No.- 5111 in Gali Thanedar Wali. This is right on the Main Bazar Road in Pahar Ganj, so there is never a quiet moment. If you look out the door, you see a constant stream of people, carts, and motorbikes going past. The cafe is not very large, but we have tried to make it a place where you can sit down and rest for a minute. We have a basic coffee machine and a small counter where we prepare simple snacks. It is not like those fancy places in the big malls with air conditioning that freezes you out. We have a couple of fans and the doors are usually open to the street. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road, but that is just how it is in Pahar Ganj. We spend our mornings setting up the tables and making sure we have enough beans and milk for the day. Most of our customers are either travelers staying in the nearby hotels or local shopkeepers who need a break from their work. We do not have a big menu with a hundred different things on it. We keep it simple with stuff we know how to make well. The sounds of the market are always there in the background, which we have grown to like over the years. It is just us running a small shop in a very busy part of Delhi.
