Dua Chilled

Our shop is over in Karol Bagh on Gurudwara Road, right in Pratap Chamber. It’s a busy area and things get pretty hectic during the day with all the traffic and people moving around. We deal with cooling stuff, mostly fridges and cooling units that people use in their homes or small shops. This isn't a big showroom with glass walls. It’s a practical space where we keep parts and tools. My family started this because we knew how to fix things. If a machine stops working, it is a big problem in the summer heat here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at people's houses. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cluttered with wires and motors lying around. That is just how a repair place looks when there is work to do. We try to be honest about what needs fixing. If a part is old, we say it’s old. Karol Bagh is a tough place to work sometimes because of the parking and the narrow lanes near Bedon Pura. But we have been here at number 12 for long enough that people know where to find us. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just show up in the morning, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It’s hard work, especially when it’s forty degrees outside, but it keeps us going. We just take one job at a time and do what we can.
