Cute Collections

Our shop, Cute Collections, is over at 40-Ub, right across from Bombay Selection in Jawahar Nagar. If you're familiar with the Kamla Nagar area, you've probably walked past our door a few times. We've been in this spot for a good while now, and it's become like a second home to us. It’s not a very big place, but we manage to fit a lot into it. Most of our day is spent just sorting through new stock and making sure things look halfway decent on the shelves. It’s a busy neighborhood with all the students from the nearby university walking around, so there’s always some noise coming in from the street. We don't have a big team or fancy systems. It’s just us doing the work, day in and day out. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of boxes delivered, but we try to clear the aisles as fast as we can. We like being part of this market because everyone knows everyone else. You can always grab a tea from the guy next door or have a quick chat with the other shopkeepers. We don't really do much in terms of advertising or big sales. We just keep our doors open and wait for people to wander in. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We've got an old fan that makes a bit of noise, and the lighting could be better, but it's our shop.
