Indian Stones

Indian Stones is located at 536 L-15 in the Mahipalpur Extension, right near the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Being so close to the airport means there is always the sound of planes overhead and a lot of traffic on the main roads. Our yard is filled with different kinds of local stones. We deal with heavy materials all day long, so it’s a lot of physical labor. The Mahipalpur area is a hub for this kind of work, and it’s always busy with trucks coming and going. We don’t have a polished office or anything like that. It’s just a place where stones are stored, cut, and loaded for delivery. Sometimes the dust from the stones gets everywhere, and we just have to live with it. We spend most of our time talking to contractors and homeowners who need granite or sandstone for their projects. We walk them through the yard, show them the different textures, and talk about how many pieces they will need. It’s a very grounded business, literally. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and keep working until the last truck is loaded. It’s not an easy life, but it’s what we do here in Mahipalpur. We’ve been at this address for a long time and the routine stays pretty much the same every single day. The stones are stacked high, and we just keep moving through the orders as they come.
