Our office is up on the 10th floor of D-Mall in Netaji Subhash Place. It's room 1010. Being in Pitampura means there is always a lot of activity around the mall and the metro station nearby. We spend most of our time dealing with granite orders and talking to suppliers. It’s a bit different being in a mall instead of a ground-floor yard, but we make it work. We have samples laid out so people can see the colors and the grain of the stone. Sometimes the elevators are slow. That is a bit of a pain when you're in a hurry. We mostly handle the paperwork and the sales side of things from here. It gets quite bright in the office during the afternoons. We've got a small team. We just get through the daily tasks of checking stock and answering the phone. It's not a huge operation, just a focused one. People come up here after looking at other shops in the area. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the desk gets covered in stone samples and coffee mugs. Granite is heavy stuff. Even though we are in an office, we’re always thinking about the logistics of moving those slabs from the warehouse to the customer’s site. It’s just the way the business goes every day here in NSP.
