Antica Ceramica

If you are coming to see us at Antica Ceramica, just look for Metro Pillar No. 371 at Raja Garden. We are at No. 40 right across from it. Being so close to the metro means we hear the trains going by all day, which is actually kind of nice once you get used to the rhythm. The shop is full of tiles and ceramic pieces of all shapes and sizes. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes because we try to keep as much as we can on display so people can see the colors properly. We aren't a big chain, just a local spot where we know most of the contractors who stop by. The floor is covered in different tile samples because we like to see how they look under the lights. Sometimes the door sticks a bit when it’s humid and the back storage area is a bit of a maze, but we know where everything is hidden. We spend a lot of time helping people pick out things for their bathrooms or kitchens, mostly just giving our honest opinion on what might look okay. There is no corporate script here, just us talking to whoever walks through the door. It gets busy on weekends, but during the week, it’s a bit more relaxed and we have time to straighten up the shelves and drink some tea.
