We’ve been here at A-17/64 on Ajmal Khan Road for quite some time now. Karol Bagh is always a bit of a whirlwind, especially in the afternoons when the foot traffic really picks up. You can hear the rickshaws honking and people haggling outside our door all day long. It's just how it is around here. Usually, we start the morning by getting the shop ready and maybe grabbing a quick tea from the guy around the corner. Janak Stores isn't some fancy glass building; it’s a practical place where we get our work done. The walls have some scuffs and the floor has seen better days, but that’s because we’re actually working. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lane, but we manage. Most of the people around Ajmal Khan Road know us by now. We don’t really do much in the way of big announcements or anything. We just open up, handle whatever comes our way, and close down when the sun goes behind the buildings. It’s a busy life in this part of Delhi, but we like the energy of it. Being at A-17/64 feels like being in the middle of everything. We keep things simple and try to stay organized, even when the street outside is a mess of people and cars. It is home for us, honestly.
