Ganesha Handicrafts

Ganesha Handicrafts is located at 10640/4, on the first floor of a building on Jhandewalan Road in Nabi Karim. If you know the area, you know it’s famous for all kinds of craft work and manufacturing. Our workshop is usually a bit messy because we are always in the middle of making something. There are tools and materials scattered around, and the smell of the raw products is quite strong. Being on the first floor is okay, though it can get pretty hot during the summer months when the sun hits the roof. We spend our days working with our hands, putting things together and checking that they look right. Nabi Karim is a very tight-knit place where everyone is doing some kind of trade. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the handicrafts and talk to the people who come to see our work. Sometimes we sit on the floor to work if the tables are full. It’s a very practical and humble way of working. Jhandewalan Road is always noisy with traffic, but inside our space, we just focus on the tasks at hand. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and our neighbors are mostly other craftsmen like us. It’s a good community to be a part of, even if it’s a bit chaotic and crowded most of the time.
