Farid Exports

We are based at No. 2158-59 M. P. Street, over in the Pataudi House area. Farid Exports isn't a massive corporation; it's more like a small family setup that grew over time. We handle different kinds of goods for export, which means there is always paperwork to fill out and shipping containers to worry about. The office is usually a bit messy with samples and documents scattered around. M. P. Street is a typical old city street, tight and always busy. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on where a shipment has reached. It can be stressful when a boat is delayed or a package gets stuck at customs. We just take it one day at a time. The building we are in has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the thick walls and the narrow stairs. We have a small warehouse space nearby where we check the quality of everything before it goes out. If something is damaged, we don't send it. It’s as simple as that. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our business happens through long-standing relationships we have built up. Sometimes we work late into the night to match the time zones of people in other countries. It’s just what the job requires. We like it here in Pataudi House, it’s got a good vibe and feels right for us.
