If you walk down Gali No 1 in Dev Nagar, you will find us at number 6192. This part of Karol Bagh is always crowded and there are bikes parked everywhere. The shop is in Block No 1. It is a loud place because of the ovens and the bikes coming and going. We stay busy most of the time. The phone number 9210235575 rings a lot, especially in the evenings when people get home from work. There is always the smell of dough and sauce in the air which you get used to after ten minutes. We have a small area for the drivers to wait for the next delivery. It’s not a big fancy place, just a kitchen and a counter. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn out from all the walking back and forth. We keep the mop handy because it gets dusty with the door opening and closing all day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to the backup, which is just part of living in Delhi. Our staff is mostly young guys who know the streets of Karol Bagh like the back of their hands. They weave through the traffic to get the boxes out. We don’t spend much time sitting down. There is always a box to fold or a floor to sweep. It is a fast-paced spot but we keep it simple and just focus on the orders as they come in.
