This Kfc is right on 10972, Dori Walan East Park Road, which is a pretty crowded spot in Delhi. If you know the post office in Karolbaghn.D.- 110005, you know exactly where we are because we’re right across from it. The kitchen stays hot all day long because the fryers never really stop. You can smell the chicken from down the street. It gets really packed around lunch and dinner time. Sometimes the floor gets a bit slippery or we run out of napkins because people take too many, but we try to keep things moving. It’s not a quiet place. There’s always the sound of orders being called out and the beep of the timers. We see all sorts of people coming in like students, office workers, and families. The staff here is mostly just local people working their shifts. We don’t have much to say about ourselves other than we make a lot of food. The building is nothing special to look at, just another brick in the row. We spend a lot of time cleaning tables and making sure the soda machine is actually working. It’s honest work and it gets tiring standing on your feet for eight hours, but that’s how it is. We’re just here serving whatever comes through the door and trying to get the orders right before the next person in line starts getting impatient.
