If you walk down Pratap Street in Pahargunj, you’ll find us at 1701 Chuna Mandi. It’s a pretty cramped area, lots of shops and people walking everywhere, which makes it an interesting place to work. We are the Dominos Pizza India Ltd spot for this neighborhood. It gets really hot in the kitchen, especially when the ovens are going full blast during the dinner rush. We spend our shifts stretching dough and getting toppings on as fast as the orders come through the little printer. It’s noisy and there’s always flour on someone’s shirt. Pahargunj has a specific kind of energy that you don’t really find anywhere else in Delhi. We have locals coming in and also a lot of tourists who are staying in the nearby guest houses. Sometimes the delivery bikes have a hard time getting through the narrow lanes, but they usually figure it out. We aren't trying to be anything other than a pizza place. There’s no big secret to what we do; it’s just making food and handing it over the counter. Some days the phone won't stop ringing and other times it's just us cleaning up the counters and waiting for the next person to walk in. We’ve been at this location for a while now and we know most of the regulars by their usual orders.
