Derawal Collections

Derawal Collections is situated at 6926/1/2 A on Chandrawal Road, right across from Khatotia Bhawan in the Subzi Mandi area. If you know this part of town, you know it is always packed with people and activity. Between the vegetable market and the regular traffic, there is never a dull moment outside our shop. We have a small place here where we keep our collections. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we try to fit a lot into the space we have. The building is an older one, and you can see the history in the walls and the floors. We have been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change around us. Most of the folks who come in are regulars who live nearby or work in the market. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that; we just keep the doors open and wait for people to stop in. The daily routine is pretty basic: we sweep the front, check the stock, and handle whatever customers need. It gets quite loud during the day with all the shouting from the market and the honking on Chandrawal Road, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on our work and try to keep things moving. It isn't a fancy showroom, just a place where we do our business in a way that makes sense.
