Ravinder Nath Zadoo

My name is Ravinder Nath Zadoo and I spend most of my waking hours at V 10 on the Tis Hazari Main Road. It’s a corner spot, which makes it easy to find but also very noisy during the day. I’ve been here so long the walls could probably tell a few stories of their own. It’s just a basic setup. I have my files, a couple of pens that actually work, and a chair that squeaks every time I move. I don't bother with much decoration. There’s a calendar from three years ago still hanging up because I like the picture of the mountains on it. People come to me when they need things sorted out without any fuss. I don't use big words or try to confuse anyone who walks in. We just talk, look at the papers, and figure it out together. The electricity goes out sometimes in the afternoon, so I keep a flashlight in the top drawer. It’s just how things are in this part of town. I don't have a big staff. It's mostly just me and the occasional visitor. I usually close up early on Saturdays to go see my grandkids. If you need me, just come by during the week when the sun is up. I'm usually there unless I had to run an errand at the post office. There is a small radio I listen to when it gets quiet.
