Chande Electricals

Chande Electricals is located on Linghi Chetty Street. It’s a busy place with lots of people moving around. Our address used to be Old No. 159, but now it is New No. 327. This confuses people sometimes when they are trying to find the 1st Floor. You have to walk up the stairs and then you will find us. We deal with all the usual electrical things like wires, switchboards, and fuses. The shelves are pretty full and sometimes it’s hard to find exactly what you want right away, but we know where everything is kept. Linghi Chetty Street is always noisy with horns and people shouting, but that is just how it is here. We have been here for a good long time. Most of our day is spent untangling stuff or showing people different types of bulbs. It’s a dusty job sometimes because of all the boxes and the old building. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a shop where you can get your electrical parts fixed or replaced. Some days are slower than others. When the rain starts, the street gets a bit messy, but people still come in looking for things. We keep the ledger on the desk and try to stay on top of the inventory. It’s just how we run things here on the first floor. There is no elevator, so we carry everything up by hand.
