Krishna Furniture House

You can find us in shops 5, 6, and 11 over at Palika Place Annexe on Punchkuian Road. It’s a bit of a maze in there, but we’ve managed to spread out across a few different units. Krishna Furniture House is a family-run thing. We’ve been sitting on these stools for years, talking to folks who come in looking for a new sofa or a bed. Since Punchkuian Road is famous for furniture, there is always a lot of competition around. We just try to keep things simple. Our stock is a mix of different styles. Some of it is modern, while other pieces are more traditional. We don't bother with a big marketing budget. Instead, we just put the furniture out where people can see it and sit on it. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to this market for decades. Moving heavy furniture around to make space for new stock takes up a lot of our time. It’s a workout every single day. The lighting in the annexe isn't the best, but you can see the quality of the wood just fine if you look. Regulars often drop by for a cup of tea even when they aren't buying anything. We like the community here. It’s busy and loud, but it feels like home. We just try to provide something useful for the house and keep the shop running.
