Coimbatore Rubber & Engineerign Corporation

You can find us over at 83 Grey Town in Coimbatore. We’ve been using Post Box No. 3908 for our mail for quite a while now. Grey Town is one of those old industrial pockets where everyone seems to be making something out of metal or rubber. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place where we keep our engineering equipment and rubber stocks. It’s usually a bit oily on the floor and the air smells like vulcanized rubber. We spend our days dealing with parts and machinery. It’s a lot of technical stuff that would bore most people, but it’s what we know. We have some old machines that still run better than the new ones. The staff here has been around for years; we’re more like a small family than a corporation. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone in overalls who can help you out. The area gets pretty busy with small tempos and trucks moving goods around. We just focus on getting our orders right and making sure the parts we send out are what the customer asked for. It’s a lot of manual work and checking specifications under a dim light. It’s a simple, honest way to work, and we like the neighborhood we’re in. It feels like home to us after all this time.
