Gandhi Store is right there at 93 Punchkuian Road, over in Phase I. It’s a spot that’s easy to miss if you’re driving too fast, but we’ve been here long enough that most locals know the door. We don't have any big flashing signs or anything like that. It’s just the name on the front and whatever we’ve got in the window that week. The inside is full of all sorts of things, and sometimes it feels like we’re running out of shelf space. We try to keep it organized, but when it gets busy, things tend to pile up a bit. That’s just part of running a shop like this. People come in, look around, and usually find what they were looking for, or something else entirely. We spend a lot of time talking to the folks who walk in. It’s not just about selling things; it’s about being part of the street. Punchkuian Road is always a mess with cars and people, but that’s just how Phase I is. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down, mostly. Gandhi Store isn't fancy, and we don't try to act like we are. It’s a simple business for people who need simple things. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just put a bucket out and keep going. It’s home for us, and we know the regulars by name.
