Nirula Furnishers

If you know Punchkuian Road, you know it’s the place to go when you need something for the house. We’re at 152-153, right in the middle of all that action. Nirula Furnishers has been around this block for a good long while. The shop is usually full of the smell of wood and sometimes polish. We have stuff piled up, and sometimes it's hard to walk through the aisles without bumping into a table leg. We don’t really do the whole modern showroom thing with bright lights. It’s more of a place where you come to see the wood for yourself and maybe sit on a few chairs to see if they’re actually comfortable. We’ve got a couple of guys who’ve been with us for years, and they know where every single piece is kept, even if it looks like a mess to anyone else. Customers come in, they haggle a bit, and we see what we can do. It’s the way things have always worked on this road. We don’t spend money on fancy ads. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to stop by. It’s a lot of manual work, moving wardrobes and heavy bed frames, but it keeps us busy. We’re just local people selling furniture to other local people. It's nothing more than that.
