Ajanta Export

You can find us at 5989 Jhandewalan Road in the Nabi Karim area. This neighborhood is famous for being a hub for all sorts of goods, especially leather and bags. Ajanta Export has been operating from this spot for quite some time now. The street is always packed with rickshaws and people carrying huge bundles on their heads. It’s a bit of a struggle just to get to the front door some mornings. Inside, the space is mostly taken up by boxes ready to be sent out. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking the quality of the goods before they get packed up. It’s a lot of repetitive work, like checking seams and zippers, but it has to be done. The building itself is quite old and the walls are a bit stained, but it serves its purpose. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably just see us sitting amongst stacks of inventory. The noise from the street never really stops, so you get used to shouting a bit to be heard. We handle the export side of things, so there's always a bit of stress about shipping schedules and containers. It’s a straightforward operation. We focus on getting the products sorted and out the door without too much fuss. It’s just daily life in the busy heart of Nabi Karim. Some days are long, but we get it done.
