Kastakar Seeds Private Limited is located in Ward No 14 at Sant Savta Mali Chowk. We are in the Sindkhed Raja area within the Buldhana district. The chowk is a central part of our daily lives and you can hear the noise of the town all day long from our windows. We are right in the middle of everything, which makes it easy for folks to stop by while they are out doing their shopping or errands. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few local people who understand how seeds work and what the farmers in Buldhana need. The building is an old one but it serves us well enough for storing what we need and keeping the books. We don't spend our time writing fancy mission statements or things like that. Mostly we just talk about the rains and when the best time to start planting will be this year. The people in Ward No 14 are our friends and neighbors, so we treat everyone who comes through the door like they’ve been coming here for years. It gets a bit crowded in the office during the peak season but we don't mind the company. We just keep doing what we do and try to stay useful to the local community. It’s a plain and simple business and we like it that way. If you are passing through the chowk, you can usually see us working through the afternoon.
