We are located on Haripara Road in Mahuva, specifically at number 172/1. If you know anything about Mahuva, you know it is famous for onions. That is a big part of what we do here—dehydrating foods so they can be stored and used much later. Our facility is often filled with the sharp scent of onions or garlic being processed. It is a very seasonal business. When the harvest comes in from the local fields, we are working around the clock to keep up with the supply. The machinery hums all day, drying out the slices until they are just right. We aren't some big corporate food giant; we are just a local business on Haripara Road trying to make the most of the local crops. The staff is mostly local people who have lived in Mahuva their whole lives. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the produce that comes in from the farms. If the quality isn't good, the final product won't be either, so we have to be very careful. The road outside can get quite muddy during the monsoon season, making it a bit of a challenge for the trucks to get in and out, but we always manage somehow. It is a lot of manual work, bagging the finished goods and making sure everything is perfectly dry. It's a simple, honest way to make a living in this town.
