Nityajiban Producer Company Limited is located in a small village called Jamna. We’re out here in the Birbhum district, which is quite a peaceful place most of the time. The address is officially No. 350729, but most people just know us as the group from Jamna. We deal with everyday production, which is what the name Nityajiban is all about—just regular life and work. We don't have any fancy titles or big offices. It’s just a room where we keep our records and a place for us to gather when there’s a decision to be made. Most of us have been living in Birbhum our whole lives, so we aren't strangers to the hard work that comes with running a producer company in a rural area. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation. We just want to make sure that the people in Jamna who are producing things have a way to get their stuff to market. Sometimes we sit around and worry about the costs of things, but we try to help each other out. It's a very local thing. If you come by Jamna, you'll see it’s just a normal village with normal people trying to do something useful. We keep our head down and do the work.
