We are based out in Vill - Bilater Tari, right near the Melar Math area. Most of us here have been farming these lands for as long as we can remember. Jalpesh Farmers Producer Company Limited started because we wanted to have a bit more control over what happens with our crops after they leave the field. Hiten Roy is kind enough to let us use his place for the main office work. It is a quiet spot in Po Uttar Bhuskar Danga where you can hear the birds more than any traffic. We spend most of our days checking on the soil and seeing how the monsoon is going to treat the seedlings this year. It is not always easy work and the heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons. We aren't big on fancy talk or long meetings. Usually, we just stand around near the gate and talk about the price of fertilizer or which pests are bothering the vegetables lately. Having the company name helps when we need to buy things in bulk for everyone. It saves a few rupees here and there which adds up when you have a family to feed. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the local roads and the local people. If you come looking for us, just ask for the place near Melar Math. Most people will know who you are talking about once you mention Hiten's house.
