Kukhutia Chandipur Agro Producer Company Limited is based in the village of Chandipur in Birbhum. You can find us at Swapan Bharari’s house. It is a quiet, rural area with a lot of open fields. We are a group of farmers from Kukhutia and Chandipur who decided to join forces. Doing things as a group makes it a bit easier to handle the business side of farming. Our office is very simple, just a room with some basic furniture and a lot of records. Birbhum can be very hot, so we usually start our work quite early to avoid the midday sun. We don't have a lot of money to spend on fancy office supplies or decorations. Most of what we make goes back into helping our members. It is a lot of responsibility to manage everything. We spend our time discussing things like rainfall, soil, and where to sell our produce. There is no marketing team here. We just communicate directly with the people in our community. If someone has a concern, they just stop by and we talk it over. It’s a slow pace of life, but we stay busy with the work that needs to be done. We are just trying to keep our farming traditions going while making sure we can survive in today's world. It’s honest, everyday work for all of us here.
