Ghurisha Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our place is in Bharatpur, right near the Ghurisha Gram Panchayat. It’s a quiet part of Birbhum. Most of us here have been farming for a long time before we started this producer company. The soil here in Illambazar can be tough when it’s dry, but we manage. You’ll find us mostly around the office or out in the fields near Jl No.78. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows. It is just a place where we sit down to talk about seeds, fertilizers, and how to get a better price for what we grow. People stop by all the time from Paschim Narayanpur to ask about the weather or just to have some tea. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Just a bunch of farmers trying to figure out how to make things work better for everyone in the village. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing, but we have some younger guys who help with that. The roads around here get muddy during the monsoon, which makes moving the produce a bit of a headache. But that is just how life is in this part of West Bengal. We’ve been here for a while now and most neighbors know where to find us if they need anything related to the farm. It is a slow life, but we keep busy enough with the crops and the meetings. It's a lot of work every day.
