Our base is at the Pegwarehouse on Jandi Road in Malia Hatina. We share the space with Parmar Kamalben Khumanbhai. It’s a practical location because having a warehouse right there makes moving goods much easier. Malia Hatina is a place where agriculture is everything. Family Farmers Producer Company Limited is exactly what it sounds like. We are a bunch of families coming together to manage our farming business better. The warehouse is a big, open space. It’s usually filled with the smell of whatever we’ve harvested recently. We don’t have air conditioning or fancy chairs. We have a small office corner where we handle the books and the phone. Jandi Road gets a lot of tractor traffic, especially during the peak months. We spend a lot of time talking about the soil and the rain. It’s not a corporate job; it’s a lifestyle. We look out for each other. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just keep working by flashlight. We aren't interested in being the biggest name in Gujarat. We just want our families to have a fair shake. It’s hard work, and your hands are always dirty, but it feels right. People know they can find us at the warehouse if they need anything. We’ve been at this for a while and we plan to keep going as long as the ground gives us something to grow year after year.
