About Stamford Global School – Education in Bikaner
If you take the Bikaner-Jaisalmer Highway out towards Nal Bari, you’ll find Stamford Global School. Being right on NH-15 means we get a lot of wind and sand, which is just part of life in this part of Bikaner. We built this place to serve the families living on the outskirts who didn't want to travel all the way into the city center every day. The school itself is a sturdy building that stands up well to the desert heat. We have high ceilings to keep the air moving, though we still rely on coolers when the sun is really beating down. Our daily routine starts early before it gets too hot. You can see the kids arriving in their uniforms, mostly looking a bit sleepy until they see their friends. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just classrooms, a playground that gets a bit dry in the summer, and some trees we’ve been trying to grow along the fence. It takes a lot of water to keep them green. The staff here are mostly local people who know the area well. We talk to the parents at the gate most mornings about the weather or the local news. It’s a very normal, practical environment. We don't make things more complicated than they need to be. We just open the doors, teach the lessons, and make sure the kids are safe until their parents come back.
