St Vivekanand Senior Secondary School

This school is located at Plot Number 3 - E in the Jnv Colony of Bikaner. Bikaner is a desert city, so we deal with a lot of heat and sand throughout the year. The 334001 area is a well-known part of the city, and our school has a fairly large plot compared to some of the others in the center. The building is painted in a way that doesn't show the dust too much. We have a big gate at the entrance and a small guard room. Inside, the corridors are wide to let the air circulate. Since we go up to senior secondary levels, we have older students who are always busy with their exams and practicals. The science labs have the old wooden tables and some basic equipment that we have used for years. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the building, so we keep the curtains drawn. We have a playground that is mostly just hard ground where the kids play cricket or football when the weather allows. It's a very straightforward school. There are no fancy lounges or high-tech gadgets everywhere. We just have our classrooms, our teachers, and our books. It’s a busy place during the day, but it gets very quiet once the final bell rings. We sometimes have to sweep the sand out of the entrance after a heavy wind storm.
