Shree Karni Vidhya Mandir Kirtasar

We have been running Shree Karni Vidhya Mandir Kirtasar for a good while now. It sits right in Kitasar, which is part of the Morkhana post area in Bikaner. Most people around here know where we are. It’s not a fancy place with big glass walls or anything like that. We just have our classrooms and a space where the children can run around during their breaks. The dust in Bikaner can be a bit much sometimes, especially when the wind picks up, so we spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy for the students. Living and working out here in 334202 means you get to know everyone. We see the parents at the local shops and talk about how the crops are doing or if the rain is ever going to come. Teaching kids in a village is different from the big cities. You see them grow from little toddlers into young adults. Sometimes the power goes out and we just move the lessons outside under the shade if it’s not too hot. It’s a simple life, really. We don’t have a big office or a bunch of secretaries. If someone needs to talk to us, they just walk through the gate and find one of the teachers. We try to make sure the kids learn their lessons and behave themselves. That’s pretty much what we do every day from morning until the bell rings in the afternoon.
