This is Nirna Raita Sahayogi Farmers Producer Company Limited. We operate out of the Primary Agriculture Credit Co-Op Society in Nirna Village. Being in Chitguppa means we are right in the middle of the farming community. It’s a very local thing. Most of us grew up around here or have families who have farmed this land for generations. The office is really just a room where we gather to talk about the harvest and the prices we’re seeing. It’s not a shiny office building. It’s more of a place where you’ll find muddy boots at the door and a lot of ledgers on the tables. We spend a lot of time helping each other out because that’s what a producer company is supposed to do. It’s about the farmers here in Nirna. We don't have a website with flashy photos. Most of our news travels by word of mouth at the market or outside the society building. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside and finish our work. It’s a simple way of living. We deal with seeds, fertilizers, and making sure the members get a fair deal. It’s hard work and the sun is hot, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India, just trying to do right by the folks in our village. We manage things as best we can and keep the books straight.
