Even though the name says Bangalore Farmer Producer Companylimited, we are actually located up in Bidar. You can find us at 9-5-548/1 in Adarsh Colony. This part of Gullar Haveli is where we do all our daily operations. It’s a bit of a distance from the big city, but we like it here in the 585401 area. We set this up to help the farmers around Bidar get organized and manage their produce better. It’s not a fancy corporate building, just a regular office where we sit down and talk about crops and prices. Some people ask why the name is what it is, but we just focus on the work at hand. We've got a lot of local members who drop in and out throughout the week to see what's happening. The walls are a bit bare and the chairs are old, but it works for us. We handle the administrative stuff that farmers usually don't have time for because they are busy in the fields. It’s a practical way to keep things moving in the right direction. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make things a little more stable for the people in our colony and the surrounding villages. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we manage. It’s just a small group of us trying to stay useful. We know the land here and we know the people. We've been at it for some time.
