Krishi Yogi is located right in Janwada, which is in the Bidar district. If you find the Government High School, we are just opposite that at house number 248. It’s a convenient spot because everyone knows where the school is. We are a group of farmers who decided to form a company to help ourselves and our neighbors. In Bidar, we grow a lot of different things, and sometimes it’s hard to get the right price for them. That’s why we have this setup. The office is usually pretty quiet unless it’s harvest time, then it gets quite frantic with people coming and going all day. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment in the office. Just the basics to keep our records straight. We spend a lot of time out in the fields too, because you can't really run a farming company from behind a desk all day. We talk to the growers, see what they need, and try to find ways to get them better seeds or better equipment. It’s not a glamorous job, and we don't pretend it is. It's just about trying to make a living and helping others do the same. We take things as they come and try to solve problems as they pop up. It’s how we’ve always done things here in Janwada. We aren't big on talking, we just like to get things done so everyone can go home.
