Hirodeshwara Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Bhankur. You can find us at Shiva Nilaya, which is house number 7/221 on the Main Road. We are right across from the Sevalal Complex in the Shanth Nagar area. It’s a local spot where a lot of the farming community gathers to talk. We aren't a big corporation with headquarters in a distant city; we are right here where the fields and the farmers are. The office is just a simple room where we meet and talk about what the growers need. It gets a bit dusty being right on the Main Road, but that’s just life in Bhankur. We started this because the local producers needed a way to work together better. We’ve seen many seasons come and go from this doorstep. Some years the crops are better than others, but we stay in the same place. People know they can just walk in if they have a question or need to settle something. It’s a very informal way of doing things, which suits us just fine. We don’t have a website or fancy advertisements. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor at the market. Shiva Nilaya is a familiar building to most folks in Shanth Nagar. We just keep our heads down and try to help the local farmers get a fair shake. It’s basic work, but it matters to the people around here.
