Waves Hair Beauty Saloon is situated at 25, First Floor, right by the Imami Gate in Bhopal. The pin code here is 462001. Being on the first floor means you have to climb up some stairs to reach us. From the window, you can see the busy street below and the old gate which is a famous spot in the city. The shop isn't massive, but we have enough space for the mirrors and the chairs. It gets a bit noisy because of the traffic near Imami Gate, but you stop noticing it after an hour or two. We do hair and beauty work, mostly for the people who work or live in this part of town. The floor is usually covered in bits of hair by mid-afternoon. We have some old shelves where we keep the shampoos and towels. It’s a basic place, really. We don't have any of those fancy modern interiors. It feels like a local shop should. The tea stalls nearby are where we get our morning drink. Sometimes the customers bring in their kids and it gets a little chaotic. We just do the work and keep the place running. The address is easy to find once you are at the gate. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. Every day is pretty much the same, but that’s okay with us. Just cutting hair and talking to whoever comes in. That's life for us.
