I work out of Ugf-12 in Metro Plaza, which is right in the Bittan Market area of Arera Colony. Even though I have this spot in the plaza, a lot of what I do is going to people's houses in Bhopal. I keep all my kits packed and ready to go. My bags are usually full of different threads, waxes, and facial creams. It’s easier for some ladies to have someone come over instead of traveling through the city traffic. Bhopal is big, and Arera Colony is a busy spot, so being central helps me get around. When I am at the shop in Metro Plaza, it’s mostly for organizing things or meeting people who want to talk about what they need first. The plaza can get quite busy in the evenings with people shopping for groceries or clothes. I’ve been doing this for a while now, so I know which houses need what. It’s a lot of traveling, carrying my stuff up and down stairs, but I’m used to it. I don't have a big staff or anything, it's mostly just me handling the bookings and the work. I try to stay on schedule, but sometimes the buses are late or a client takes longer than expected. It’s a busy life but I like being my own boss. People know me by name around here, which is nice. It's a simple way to earn a living doing something practical.
